I'm really, really going to try to put effort into this blog. It will be the first time I have ever actually gone forth with actively blogging!

This is how I spent my lovely, COOL summer day!

layouts + five years.

urgh. okay, so i'm still waiting on my layout to be finished and for some reason, i dont want to really reveal the site or post mail until i have my lovely layout from brigitte. SO...I have decided to make a big event of the opening day! be ready for a big giveaway, blog interviews and LOTS of photos! Perhaps even a few product reviews too!

As for the giveaway, rules will be posted the day of opening and it will last for a week. I will be pulling the two names out of a hat and will be videotaping said pulling.

Prize packs will include various stationary items, writing things, handmade goodies, etc etc. Lots of cute stuff! Photos will be posted of some of the prizes and more info!

Sooo....

So, I havent gotten any mail in a few days...rather disappointing! BUT I did sent out forty dollars worth of letters today! including a Modge Podge'd decorated letter to Bianca of Goodnight Little Spoon! Currently, I'm working on one to Erin of Cherry, IL. :D But before I finish that, it's time for scrambled eggs! Four hours of sleep last night...blugh!

Whoooo! My first post! I have been wanting to start up a blog detailing my mail fun for ages but havent gotten around to starting it! Obviously, my layout needs a bit of work, but this will do for now!

Gee, I wonder why I never have time? Hmmmm....



THAT is why! Those all need to get mailed out! Sheesh! Quite a stock-pile huh? There's a mix of birthday and thank you cards, quick notes for family members, and of course letters to a few pen pals! I tend to like to take one whole trip to the post office as opposed to going every single day.

Currently, I'm working on this letter to Stella in Korea! I decided to use some more country-themed stationary to match the envelope.



Those envies are fabulous by the way! Nice and light...almost like parchment. I made a trip to San Francisco yesterday with a very close friend of mine with the intent of visiting Japantown! I picked those guys up(package of 60, I think.) at Daiso. I of course visited Kinokuniya but I decided against picking anything up. It was a bit more expensive than I thought it would be! Sad, I know. :(

On another kawaii note, I have decided to auction off some of my collection! This will include sticker sheets, sticker sacks, plushies, writing tools, mini/large memo pads, bento supplies(un-used.), and quite a lot more! Be sure to check and see if I've got it up soon!

I am also willing to take requests for items for my next San Francisco trip! I'm hopefully planning on visiting somewhere around July 27th(my birthday weekend.) if I can come up with the cash to do so!
